Mexiko

Mexico

A roundtrip through the highlands of Mexico, through Yucatan and Chiapas

Im mexikanischen Urwald - (c) Peter BelinaOn the following pages I want to show you some aspects of Mexico. From the mid of november to the mid of december I have been on tour- for four weeks that passed by too fast. Especially for a huge country as Mexico. Two weeks I have been in Mexico on my own, another two weeks with a fantastic nine-headed group.

From Mexiko City I went to the silbertown Taxco, to Xochicalco, Puebla and Teotihuacan and back again to  Mexiko City. From there I was going by plane to Cancun and per ferry to the Isla Mujeres- for relaxing at a Carribean Feeling. Via Chichen Itza, Merida, Uxmal and Campeche the trip was going to Tonina. And from there via Agua Azul to San Christobal de las Casas. After a trip to the Sumidero Canon we were going back to the north. Via Misol-Há to Palenque, from there to Calakmul, the Cenote Azul, Tulum and Xpu-Ha back again to the Isla Mujeres.

I learned a lot about Mexico, but to learn everything about this country and to understand it, you need much more time.
